Team leaders are requested to arrive to the registration center with following documents:

- Waivers - signed with one's own hand of each player
- Players numbers (numbers must be between 4-99)
- List of companions
- Receipts

Team leaders will receive for each player, coaches, registered staff assistant, registered companion:
- Participants packages (include: registration card, city map, promotional T-shirt of the event, a tournament program, official bulletin, timetable of the games, diploma, gifts, coupon for Get Together Party)
- Free city bus transport from August 17 to 26, 2001 (belongs those who took the accommodation through Kompas Holidays)
- Free Sightseeing Ljubljana (belongs those who took the accommodation through Kompas Holidays)

Team leaders are responsible that only waiver's signed players may play. Any changes of players will not be allowed after the registration.

Social activities

Opening Ceremony:

Location: sport hall Tivoli, Saturday August 18, 2001 at 7 p.m.

All participants are invited to gather for the inauguration of the 6th World Maxibasketball Championship, Ljubljana 2001.

Two representatives of each participating team are requested to take an active part in parade, dressed in the teams uniform. More detailed information will be given at the registration center or at the opening ceremony place at 6 p.m..

Team, club, sponsor insignias are allowed in the opening ceremony.

Open to all participants.

Monday, August 20, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., location: City Hall. Invited: leaders of the participating teams, FIMBA representatives.

Get Together Party

Get Together Party - Social event (open for all participants): location: Pogačarjev trg (open square in down town between cathedral and Ljubljanica river) from 8 p.m. to 12 p.m.
Program:
- To give speech: organizer, Ljubljana city representative, FIMBA representative
- FIMBA official announcement of the next host cities: 7. World MBC, 2. European MBC, Pan-American MBC and their presentations
- dinner with drink (4 $ (1000 SIT) - extra price with gratis drinks, paid in advance at the registration desk)
- live rock and roll music, surprises

FIMBA and delegation evening

Thursday, August 23 at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.. Location: : Hotel Slon (Elephant), Slovenska street 34, down town. Invited.

Farewell Party

Informal closing of the 6.WMBC starts at 6. p.m. location: Registration center - Restaurant Pri Jovotu, Poljanska 99, Kodeljevo. Open for all participants. Low price service.

Immediately after each final game.

A representative of the Organizing Committee will be present at each playing site for first aid. Emergency medical service is available non stop on telephone: (01) 2323160 (Urgent Klinical center) or 112. The medical deputy of Urgent Klinical center during 6th WMBC period is As.prof. dr. Matjaž Veselko.

Medical transport and medical costs are paying by yourself. (Do not forget health insurance!)

Each player must sign a waiver to get the registration card respectively before his/her first game!
