6th World MaxiBasketball Championship

Legends of Basketball club Prule, Ljubljana, Slovenia will arrange the 6th World MaxiBasketball Championship games in Ljubljana. The tournament is supported by the Mayor and the government of the host city.

6th World Maxibasketball Championship is organized with FIMBA, the International MaxiBasketball Federation.

We are looking for over 130 teams from all over the World to participate on the competition between August 18 - 26, 2001. The championship tournament will last 9 days, from Saturday to the following Sunday. Each team will play at least four games, but no more than six under FIBA rules.

There will be three rest days per team during this period. Then you will have time to enjoy sightseeing of amazing host city Ljubljana and beautiful country Slovenia.

Now we are selecting co-operators in foreign countries. We would appreciate it if you could assist us in our efforts. Are you interested in activating your senior teams (35+ for men and 30+ for ladies) to participate the games in Ljubljana. Can you recommend a (national) selection or a team which could come as option in that respect.
